Hertfordshire Police came to us when they found that their usual recruitment methods were no longer working and their pool of candidates had dried up. They urgently needed call handlers but were struggling to attract the staff they needed for this vital role. 

But thanks to our targeted approach, we quickly generated almost 200 high-quality applications, leading to the constabulary hiring 20 new staff, with more planned in the coming months. The success of the campaign led to them instructing crooton again to fill even more essential roles.

Lifeways, the UK’s largest supported living specialist, were keen to find more support workers for adults with complex needs living in the community, and started using crooton on a trial basis. 

Thanks to the trial going so well – leading to the recruitment of five new members of staff – they have now become a long-term partner and we are working with their recruitment teams across the country to find the ideal candidates for roles that are usually difficult to find staff for.

PHS, the leading hygiene services provider in the UK, contacted crooton after struggling to find washroom drivers for locations across the country. 

We launched a 28-day recruitment campaign for them and quickly generated almost 50 applications from candidates with the desired skills and experience. This led to 40 candidates being shortlisted, 18 interviews, and a number of new staff being hired.
