Where it all began
Having spent his career in the recruitment world, crooton founder, Stephen Anderson saw an opportunity to do things differently. He wanted to flip traditional recruitment on its head to get better results for employers; better quality of applications for less cost. So he created crooton back in 2019.
When the Covid19 pandemic hit in early 2020, crooton turned its hand to supporting the NHS by recruiting nurses, vaccinators and care staff. Thankfully, after that, word got out that recruiting the crooton way was in fact, a great idea, and lots of other industries decided to give it a go.
We found our clients loved crooton’s location based marketing tech so much that they wanted to use it for their wider marketing campaigns. Naturally, we obliged! We saw an opportunity to support our clients with more than recruitment, and so Soop Marketing was born!
Today, crooton and Soop help global bands, SMEs and non profit organisations run strategic and creative digital location based recruitment marketing campaigns that reach the right people, in the right place at the right time.
