Crooton becomes a Living Wage Employer

We’re proud to share that crooton is now an accredited Living Wage Employer.

But, this isn’t a new policy or a big change, it’s an acknowledgement of our long term commitment to make crooton a great place to work - something that we’ve been proud of since day one.

Head of People, Edmund Hockley, said: “We’re very proud that crooton is a great place to work, and that means investing in our people. For us, fair pay has always been something we believe in and this accreditation simply reflects the standards we’ve always upheld.”

The Living Wage accreditation means that every member of our team earns a wage that’s based on the real cost of living, not just the government minimum. It’s calculated each year by the Living Wage Foundation to reflect what people actually need to get by.

At crooton, we're well aware that our success depends on the people behind it. We know that when people feel valued and supported, they do their best work - and that’s better for everyone, including our clients.

Working in recruitment, we spend every day talking about people; finding them, hiring them, supporting them. So it makes sense that we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Being a Living Wage Employer is a simple commitment, but it says something important about who we are. We’re a business that believes in fairness, transparency, and making work better - for our team and for the people we work with.
